Rand Paul
Rand Paul is a Republican senator from Kentucky who has served in the Senate since 2011. His official committee biography describes his medical training at Duke, his ophthalmology practice in Kentucky and his work providing pro-bono eye care before and during his Senate service.
The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee identifies Paul as its chairman.
