Kelly Morrison is the Democratic U.S. representative for Minnesota’s 3rd Congressional District and has served in the House since January 2025. A physician by training, she earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University and practiced medicine for more than two decades. Before Congress, she served in the Minnesota House of Representatives and then the Minnesota Senate.
Morrison currently serves on the House Small Business and Veterans’ Affairs committees. Her official office lists her as ranking member of the Small Business Subcommittee on Rural Development, Energy, and Supply Chains and as a member of the Small Business Contracting and Infrastructure Subcommittee; on Veterans’ Affairs she serves on the Health and Disability Assistance and Memorial Affairs subcommittees.
