Cindy Hyde-Smith is a Republican U.S. senator from Mississippi who entered the Senate in 2018 after service in the Mississippi Legislature and as the state commissioner of agriculture and commerce.
In the 119th Congress, Hyde-Smith serves on Agriculture, Appropriations, Energy and Natural Resources, and Rules and Administration. She chairs the Agriculture Subcommittee on Commodities, Derivatives, Risk Management and Trade and the Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development.
